On September 18th, 2018, Quality Life Services crowned a new Mr. & Ms. Quality Life at their annual pageant. This pageant is presented by Don’t Stop Dreamin’, a 501(c)(3) non-profit division of Quality Life Services, and features one male and one female contestant that are selected from each of Quality Life Services skilled nursing facilities or personal care homes. The nominated contestants participate in a lunchtime pageant filled with fun and competition featuring talent, formalwear, and personality rounds. This year’s pageant was held at the Chadwick Event Center (Wexford, PA) and featured a star-studded judges panel of:

The 2018 Mr. & Ms. Quality Life Pageant welcomed over 250 attendees consisting of residents, family and friends to celebrate contestants with alongside Quality Life Services’ staff, emcee Dennis Bowman (former KDKA Weatherman) and pageant judges.

ABOUT THE WINNERS:
2018 Ms. Quality Life Katherine Mastrangelo (Katie) and late husband Patsy had 1 son and 2 grandchildren. Formerly working in the hostess shop at St. Francis Hospital, Katie currently enjoys playing bingo, doing word search puzzles, going to the casino, and playing cards with son Frank when he visits. Katie is very proud of her Italian heritage, as we’ll hear through her vocal performance.

2018 Mr. Quality Life Regis Bowman is a former schoolteacher, specifically instructing junior & senior high theatre. He still enjoys theatre and counts it among his hobbies. Regis also loves to spend time with his wife, Joan.
