Our homes are very fortunate to be located in areas with natural beauty and populated with hard working, honest community members. With that good fortune comes a responsibility to serve the surrounding community and the people who make the areas so desirable.

The following are services provided in the homes of our friends and neighbors:

Home-Delivered Meals
Special diets and food preferences are no problem with daily, weekday delivery of the noon and evening meals. The price is $5.00 per day per person. (Available from Sugar Creek Rest and Chicora Medical Center)

Homemaker Service
A trained staff member comes to your home to clean, cook and do laundry. Payment is based on an hourly basis for as much or little time needed. (Available from Sugar Creek Rest)

Social Services
A social worker will come to your home to help with personal problems, offer guidance and make other referrals as needed. This service is charged on an hourly basis. (Available from Sugar Creek Rest and Emlenton's Laurel Manor)

Personal Assistance Aides
Certified Nursing Assistants will come to your home to help with dressing, bathing and other personal care needs. This is billed on an hourly basis. (Available from Sugar Creek Rest)

Home Laundry Service
Laundry will be done in your home or in the commercial laundry department at our facility. Cost is determined by the pound/hour. (Available from Sugar Creek Rest)

Handyman Service
A maintenance man will visit your home to complete simple repairs. There is a charge for time and materials. (Available from Sugar Creek Rest)

Reassurance Monitoring
Staff of the facility closest to your home will call daily or more often (twice daily) to check on someone living alone. No answer or illness will bring an immediate response. (Available from Sugar Creek Rest and Chicora Medical Center)
