Long-time QLS team member, Michele Schrecengost, has been promoted from Clinical Services Specialist to the position of Director of Clinical Services.
Michele will assume this key stakeholder position on February 1, 2021. Michele attended Citizens School of Nursing and Penn State University. She feels privileged to have spent her entire nursing career in Long Term Care, starting as a Personal Care Aide while she attended school. Personal Care has always been her first love, however, her years spent working in skilled nursing and long term care has, according to Michele, challenged her as a nurse, a teammate and a human. As Director of Clinical Services, Michele will continue to support several of the QLS nursing homes’ skilled units while also providing clinical oversight and guidance to the seven personal care homes in our QLS family.
